Read before signing for a raid

We will have as few rules as posibel - our GM is lazy

Raids will be posted at the forum.

All can sign, if you don't get a spot you will get in the line of those who are guarenteed a spot.

Our guarentied spot system works as this:
If u are on sub for a raid and are entitled to a guarentied spot for this u will get on the guarentied spot list.
Guarentied spots will be saved day by day, this means that if u for example are sub on a day2 run u will earn a guarentied spot to a day2 run, same goes for the other days ofc.
Guarentied spots will be used in the order they where earned.

A canceled raid will not give any guarentied spots.

U can have more than one guarentied spot at the time, since it can only be used on the same raid day u got it on. ( eg. raid day1 gives raid day1 spot and so on )
Guarentied spots will never expire if not used.

All raids will start at 7:30pm servertime ( for week days ) and 6pm servertime ( saturday and sunday), and end no later than 10pm servertime.(unless the raid agrees on carrying on a bit, if just one person is against this, the raid will stop at 10pm as it normal would. )

Make sure u always meet prepared for a raid and 15 min before raid start unless prior arangement is made with the raidleader or Flipflop.
Prepared mean, with buffs and reagents for ur class, fully repaired and with all required addons installed and working.
If u havent contacted one of us and told that u will be a bit late and u are not here 15 min before raid, we will let ur spot go to the next suitable class on the list. Also u will loose ur right to get a guarenteed spot on next run and have u used a guarentied spot on the given run, this one will be lost aswell unless there is a very good reason for u to not being here in time. ( Remember it isent hard to either log on to say I cant make it, or simply text Shads or write a note here on the forum )

We do not use DKP, if you are in the run you have the right to roll for the item - use comon sence to figure out if that item is for you.

Most important is to have fun - to make it posibel for a raidleader to have fun ppl needs to show some disipline at a raid, such as follow the raidleades guiding as soon as posibel, make sure to ask if your in doubt about anything, and keep chat free when the leader are giving directions (also say and general chat - would hate the MT to miss some info due to flooding )

How to sign for a raid:

Reply to the post with the raid you would like to join,

On all raids scheduled u can only sign with ur main toon, unless circumstances calls for another toon of urs, in which case the raidleader will ask for another of ur toons, this is however totaly up to u, if u prefer to come as ur main just let the raid leader know. Subs will be used before alts.

If u are having doubts about if u will be able to make it for the run, do not sign even as sub. We will ofc asume that all signed are able to make it for the run, unless something unexpected comes up, in wich case u ofc will let the raidleader know.

Keep in mind that u might not get a spot, because we will need to move ppl around acording to our raidrules, however, as it also says in raidrules, if u do not get a spot in a raid, u will have a guarentied spot in next raid of that instance.

A raid will be cancelled if there are not enough sign ups of the required class to make the raid a success. This is to avoid any dissappointment and needless repair bills. However the raid leader will always try to run a raid rather than cancel it

The raid leader will endevour to confirm or cancel a raid at least 24hrs in advance.
If a raid is cancelled then it will no longer go ahead. If another raid is put on instead, all members are reminded to sign up to the new raid. You will not automatically be substituted onto the new raid list as it is recognised that members may not want to do the new instance.

Raid attendance:

To keep aiming for the goals with this guild, we need ppl to be active in signing for raids.
This means every person in the guild, and therefor we keep track of ppls raid attendance.
Should u fail to sign for a raid that gives raid attendance in a period of 2 weeks, without having an AFK post that justify this, u will be given a warning.
Should u then fail to adjust ur raid attendance or apply to the warning with a legal reason for not doing so, u will be removed from the guild.
All Raids set up in the "raid signup section" will count as raid attendance, raids set up in the "other runs section" will not count as raid attendance.
Raids currently on the guilds raidschedule are not alowed to apear in the other run section to avoid confusion with saved ppl.

Addons:

There is a few addons it is important that u have before entering a raid with us.
We will not accept ppl entering a raid without these addons installed and updated, and u will be replaced if u show up without them.

There is a couple of things I would like u all to think about, mainly I would like u to use it in kara aswell, but as we are starting ZA soon it is very important and totaly unaceptable if ppl dont follow it, as it will cause way to many stupid wipes.

Everything in ZA is on a timer, as alot of stuff in kara is aswell...
Therefor it is not ok for some ppl to go afk all the time, our last kara run we had the privilgie of having 5 min afk time after each boss, this should cover most of ur bio breaks and getting drinks and whatever u need stuff.
So basicly unless ur house is on fire or u really need to go have a bio u will need to wait until the raidleader tells u it is ok to go afk.

Ofc there can be some varuis reasons for u to be able to get afk time outside this, just talk to me or the raidleader before a raid, if u have some special needs that makes it impossible for u to wait.

The other thing I would like ppl to think about and work into there raiding is agro management, basicly I love to see u guys play, u are doing exelent with agro
But... ( yep there is always a but )
With alot of the bosses in ZA it is important that we have both tanks on top of OMEN at all times, if a dps get above them even just for a sec. One of the tanks will die almost everytime, because dealt damage then will go to that one tank instead of splitting between them.

If u make a habit of keeping an eye on OMEN and making sure that u never get above any tank in threath, both in kara and ZA u will be safe, DONT wait until u get just above the tank to throw ur loose agro thing, do it at 99 % instead of 100, as the last 30 % from 100 to 130 % will be ur safe zone for those anoying crit.
In other words, I wont accept to hear any.. wops my bad, unlucky crit.. as this is just a way of telling ur guild mates that u didnt pay attention to OMEN, and can cause a stupid wipe.

Wipes we learn from is a good thing, but noone likes stupid wipes, so lets keep away from those pls

If you see on a post it means there have been ansigned a player to each spot at last update of the list, but would be nice if you sign for a substitude spot.

If you see on a post it means that the run had spots that needs to be filled at last update.

The do not mean you shouldn't sign up, we do have the rotation schedule to reward ppl who signs as sub.


Also if we one day end up with enough signed as sub to be able to shake together two teams for that day, we wíll ofc do that

Now that we started raiding again, I think its time to remind ppl to read up on these rules, as we espect all of u to follow them to make the raid a pleasure for all members

Just to shake a bit up again in some stuff that should be very easy to oversee, but apparently still are given some trouble doing.

If u are signed for a raid, but something comes up so u are not able to go.
Make sure to inform the raidleader or the guildleader about this.
Do NOT do this using guildchat, as it will not be guarentied that the right ppl see this, and u will therefor still risk getting a warning for not showing up.
Use the forum or inform the raidleader or guildleader directly.
Should u end up in a situation where u need to inform us about the absence of another guildmember the rules for this also apply for the person u are giving us notice about still will recieve a warning.


Should these rules regarding to informing not be followed, the warnings that will be given to this person, will not be withdrawn.
